NYU Kimmel University Hospital in New York received a specially designed, acoustically effective parapet construction for its five-story entrance hall, spanning from the first to the fourth floor. Veneered acoustic panels with AKUSTIbohr micro-perforations were installed on the balustrade substructure. To further enhance the aesthetic, the larch-veneered acoustic panels were accented with solid wood slats, creating a contemporary ribbed look.
